About
Lexi's practice focuses on bankruptcy, family law, and complex civil litigation. She represents individuals, families, and businesses navigating financially and emotionally challenging legal issues, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy, high-conflict domestic matters, business disputes, and related litigation. Drawing on her background in both financial restructuring and courtroom advocacy, Lexi develops practical, strategic solutions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
Before joining Pearson Butler, Lexi practiced family law and complex civil litigation with a Utah County firm. Earlier in her career, she was a finance and restructuring associate in the New York City office of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, where she represented lenders, borrowers, and other stakeholders in sophisticated financing and restructuring transactions. After relocating with her family to St. Louis during her husband's doctoral training, she continued practicing with several Missouri law firms, broadening her experience across multiple areas of civil litigation.
Lexi's experience on both the transactional and litigation sides of complex legal matters gives her a unique perspective when advising clients facing financial distress, family transitions, or business disputes. She is known for providing candid advice, careful analysis, and practical advocacy designed to achieve efficient, effective results."
During law school, Lexi served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Christine M. Durham, Chief Justice of the Utah Supreme Court.
Outside the office, Lexi enjoys spending time with her husband, Cole, and their six children. She also supports Cole's involvement in local government and the BYU faculty community and serves as an adjunct instructor teaching Media Law in BYU's School of Communications.

In law school, Lexi was Lead Articles Editor for the BYU Law Review. Lexi also received the J. Reuben Clark Award for Integrity, Service and Academic Excellence, the Faculty Award for Excellence in Legal Academic Writing, and the Top Oralist Award in the 1L Moot Court Competition.
