Biography

For over 40 years, Russell Walker has served his clients by providing zealous, effective legal advocacy on a range of complex commercial, business, real estate, and bankruptcy litigation matters. After earning his Juris Doctorate from Brigham Young University, he started his career in private practice with a major law firm. Later, as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Commercial Security Bank/Key Bank, he gained in-depth experience handling legal matters for Lenders, , including commercial, real estate business, and bankruptcy litigation.

Since moving back to private practice in 1989, Russell has counted major banks, Fortune 500 companies, public and private companies, and individuals among his clients, as he has continued to handle multifaceted commercial, real estate, business, and bankruptcy matters in both the courtroom and at the negotiating table. As an adjunct professor of management at the University of Utah College of Business, he spent ten years teaching business law and sharing his insights with a new generation of business talent.

Often serving as trusted counsel for his clients, including creditors and debtors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization cases, Russell has gained a widespread reputation as a knowledgeable, effective and skilled attorney with extensive experience in his field.
