For nearly 40 years, Russell Walker has served his clients by providing zealous, effective legal advocacy on a range of complex commercial, business, real estate, and bankruptcy litigation matters. After earning his Juris Doctorate from Brigham Young University, he started his career in private practice with a major law firm. Later, as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Commercial Security Bank/Key Bank, he gained in-depth experience handling legal matters for banks, particularly those involving commercial litigation and real estate.
Since moving back to private practice in 1989, Russell has counted major banks, Fortune 500 companies, public and private companies, and individuals among his clients, as he has continued to handle multifaceted commercial, real estate, business, and bankruptcy matters in both the courtroom and at the negotiating table. As an adjunct professor of management at the University of Utah College of Business, he spent ten years teaching business law and sharing his insights with a new generation of business talent.
Often serving as trusted counsel for creditors and debtors during Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization, Russell has gained a widespread reputation as a knowledgeable, effective and skilled attorney with extensive experience in his field. Here at Pearson Butler, he is available to assist with all matters relating to general commercial, business, real estate, or bankruptcy law, including trials and appeals.
