Biography

J.D. Williams is an associate in Pearson Butler’s litigation department. Before joining Pearson Butler, he was a prosecutor handling domestic violence, assault, property crimes, and drug offenses in South Carolina’s 14th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.

He received his law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. During law school, he interned at the Utah U.S. Attorney’s Office, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, and was a research assistant for an administrative law professor.

J.D. enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, hiking, paddleboarding, and playing the guitar.
