Lowest Number of Utah Traffic Deaths in 36 Years

The Utah car accident attorneys at Pearson Butler are happy to announce that Utah has seen the lowest number of traffic deaths in 36 years. Utah’s Department of Transportation has reported that Utah had 235 traffic-related deaths in 2010, the lowest number auto accident fatalities since 1974.

UDOT reports a 17% drop since 2005 and 37% since 2000. Additional good news is that fatigue-related fatalities are down 61% and speed-related fatalities are down 21% where people were not wearing a seat belt.
