Katelin Gines joined the litigation department of Pearson Butler after graduating with honors from Drake University Law School. During law school, Katelin focused her studies around litigation, clerking for a litigation firm and as a Student Attorney for the Drake Legal Clinic where she worked in both the Criminal Defense Clinic and Elder Law Clinic. During her time in the clinic Katelin was responsible for all aspects of assigned cases including case development, motions, and hearings. Her work in the clinic helped Katelin realize she loves advocating for her clients’ needs through all aspects of the cases, particularly in the courtroom.
Katelin is a Utah native. In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world, attending plays and musicals, cheering on the Utah Jazz, and spoiling her nieces and nephews. Prior to law school, Katelin received a degree focused on Modern European History and political science from Utah State University
